Katarzyna Ziembowska (ur. 1970), w Luksemburgu mieszka od ponad piętnastu lat. Pracownik w instytucjach europejskich. Fotografuje w wolnych chwilach. Uczestniczy regularnie w zajęciach i warsztatach organizowanych w Luksemburgu przez fotoklub CIEL, a także przez fotografów: Irka Graffa (2016, warsztaty plenerowe) i Helen Vink (2013–2017, fotografia kontemplacyjna Miksang). Brała udział w wystawie „Etikamera – 20 ans en images” organizowanej przez etika.lu (2016, Luksemburg).

Fotografia jest dla niej ulubionym narzędziem poznawania i kontemplowania świata – uczy obserwowania, dostrzegania związków i relacji, rozwija wewnętrznie i zaspokaja potrzebę kreatywności. Ułatwia rozumienie współczesnej sztuki. Fotografowanie może być przyjemne i interesujące zarówno w pojedynkę, jak i w grupie.
Kasia o fotografiach wybranych przez Irka: „Można znaleźć w nich to, co lubię: prostotę, naturalność i bezpośredniość fotografii kontemplacyjnej Miksang, aktywny wypoczynek w plenerze, sztukę zmierzającą ku abstrakcji, film i muzykę…”. Née 1970, vit au Luxembourg depuis plus de quinze ans. Employée dans les institutions européennes. Dans son temps libre elle photographie et participe régulièrement aux cours et ateliers organisés au Luxembourg par le photo-club CIEL, ainsi que par des photographes: Irek Graff (2016, ateliers en plein air) et Hèlen Vink (2013-2017, photographie contemplative Miksang). Elle a participé à l’exposition «Etikamera – 20 ans en images» organisée par etika.lu (2016, Luxembourg).

La pratique de la photographie est son outil préféré pour mieux connaître le monde, pour le contempler, car elle apprend à observer, à mieux percevoir les relations et les interactions, permet le développement individuel et nourrit le besoin de la créativité.
